Breitling Logo — Breitling is a brand watch Swiss native Bernese Jura and founded by Leon Breitling in 1884 in St. Imier. Breitling offers high-end models of watches certified chronometers. These are often used in aviation, became the emblem of the watchmaker. Breitling watches are luxury watches and some are distinguished by their dial wide (for readability) and their multiple functions (such as chronograph, slide rule, or ratchet rotating bezel).

Mechanisms (blanks) from suppliers are modified by Breitling Chronometrie Workshops (formerly Kelek SA) to undergo a certification by the COSC. In 2009, Breitling launched its own movement, the Caliber B01, and at the same time joined the select circle of manufactures, the same sense that Audemars Piguet, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Rolex, Vacheron Constantin and Zenith.
These watches are mechanical or electronic quartz, some models like the B-1 (1998-2006) include more sophisticated components such as a microprocessor. In 2001 Breitling introduced its range in the Superquartz, regulated by thermometer, ten times more accurate than standard quartz movement. In 2002, Breitling launched in La Chaux-de-Fonds unity “Breitling Chronometry” specializing in chronographs movements. In 2009 has unveiled a brand new automatic chronograph movement “house”, the caliber B01. It is first mounted in the new models then Navitimer Chronomat.
