DeWalt Logo — DeWalt is a worldwide brand of power tools for the industries of construction and carpentry. The original company was launched in 1924 by Raymond E. DeWalt, who invented the radial arm saw. The company grew quickly and was reorganized in 1947, manufacturing radial arm saws and other woodworking machines stationary. After purchasing the company in 1949, the American Machine & Foundry Co. Inc. sold it to Black & Decker in 1960. Black & Decker detached itself from the branch of manufacturing radial arm saws in 1989, selling it to two executives.
Currently, DeWalt manufactures and markets over 200 different hand tools and 800 accessories mecanoeléctricas.
