Fiat Logo – Fiat -acronym for Fabbrica Italiana Automobili T-pee is a historic Italian brand of cars that are marketed under the vehicles since 1899, home of the largest Italian industrial group, Fiat SpA Its main markets are Europe, Latin America and Asia, with strong Sales in Brazil and Italy. Its output is more than two million units annually. Under the brand Fiat sold only passenger cars, with Fiat Professional in charge of marketing light commercial vehicles. Both brands are Fiat Group Automobiles – with Lancia, Abarth and Alfa Romeo – who along with Chrysler Group, Ferrari and Maserati are the automotive division of Fiat SpA.
In 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 with interactive activities aimed at saving fuel and reducing emissions as Ecoville, are in good agreement the Italian brand as the manufacturer with fewer emissions in Europe. Since the eighties, the European models are brand standing at the bottom of the ranking in terms of reliability, according to statistical studies published by organizations such as ADAC German or institute DEKRA. This situation has been reversed in the models studied recently, Fiat obtaining more satisfactory results than the average of its competitors in each segment compared.
In 2010 due to synergies between the two groups announced the commercialization of the Fiat 500 in the U.S. market to compete against the MINI in that market and the market outside North America for some products of the American group rebranded under the Fiat brand. Following this joint strategy in 2011 is presented Freemont Fiat, Fiat version of the Dodge Journey. It provides for more models with minor changes renamed to suit different markets and offer a greater variety of products for both brands as consumer tastes.
