USPS Logo¬†– The United States Postal Service (USPS) is the postal service government of the United States of America, known by its old name U.S. Mail, as provided by the U.S. Constitution. It was created by a decree of the Second Continental Congress on 26 July 1775 in Philadelphia as the United States Post Office under Benjamin Franklin who was the first Postmaster General (“Postmaster General”).
