  • The updated system stacks Wi-Fi, cameras, sensors, communications and EV charging on one pole, backed by a new online tool for specifying technology brands.
  • Landscape Forms has relaunched SHUFFLE, a modular pole that consolidates Wi-Fi, cameras, sensors, two-way communications and EV charging for public spaces, adding plug-and-play lighting, camera and audio modules plus an online configuration feature. The company positions it for campuses, transit hubs, retail, tourism and healthcare sites where ground space is limited.

Landscape Forms has relaunched SHUFFLE, a modular pole system that consolidates Wi-Fi, cameras, sensors, two-way communications and EV charging into a single vertical structure for public spaces.

The company frames the relaunch as a response to a familiar site problem: municipalities, campuses and commercial developers keep adding single-purpose pole sensors, cameras, lighting and connectivity equipment to locations where space is tight. SHUFFLE is intended to let them expand site functionality without adding visual clutter or additional cost, the company said.

Modular build, configurable online

Each capability is a stackable module, which Landscape Forms says allows customization at installation and later adaptation as a site's needs change. The company has also added a build feature to its website so clients can specify preferred camera and technology brands and choose among options within each.

“This is the solution site designers have been waiting for,” said Shannon Lee, business development manager for smart poles at Schréder. Lee said SHUFFLE was designed to fit busy public spaces with feature sets that can be updated as site requirements evolve, integrating safety and connectivity without dominating the outdoor environment.

New plug-and-play modules

Recent feature updates, described as plug-and-play, include:

  • a 360-degree area light and a 180-degree area light;
  • a decorative light ring;
  • quad-view and 180-degree camera options;
  • motion sensors;
  • loudspeaker and intercom modules.

Landscape Forms lists university and business campuses, airports and commuting hubs, shopping malls, tourist areas, concert halls, city parks, sports venues and hospitals among the intended settings, where site managers are balancing a range of requirements.

Jordan Agustin, president of lighting at Landscape Forms, said the relaunch reflects technology and design working together to make outdoor spaces safer and smarter without compromising aesthetics, and that the added capabilities support the company's stated mission of connecting people to the outdoors and to each other.
