G-Star Logo — G-Star Raw, commonly G-Star, is a brand of clothing created in 1989, whose registered office is in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The company has branches in Europe, in Asia, in Australia and the United States.
The company originally named Gap Star, but changed its name during his visit to the international sale. The main branch of the brand is called RAW (“raw” in French). The range includes pants, jeans, shorts, T-shirts, jackets, shoes, and others. Jeans are portrayed as “unwashed, untreated”, and sold immediately after production. The brand is inspired by the old military uniforms around the world. Some models of jackets have pockets for cell phones.
In early January 2009, G-Star launches a new line. A collection without denim. Chic and classic line “Correct Line” consists of clothing for men and women in wool, cashmere, silk or leather. The brand name is affixed to all products, more or less discreetly, but a small label (black and yellow mostly) still says “G-STAR — ORIGINALS — RAW — DENIM”. The largest store is located in New York. The mark is deemed to U.S., but also in the UK and France, particularly in urban areas.
