Diadora Logo — The Diadora is a clothing company Italian, based in San Marco Caerano in the province of Treviso, which produces shoes, t-shirts and other items such as backpacks and bags. Technical Sponsor and creator of the uniforms for the Italian Referees Association.

The name was suggested by a friend to Danieli, who took inspiration from a historical partnership sport that took place in Venice Lido, the sports company Diadora. Etymologically derived from Greek Diadora has a double meaning: the first binds to the region of Dalmatia Zadar, more specifically with the Diadora in Zadar was indicated. The second meaning comes from the union of the terms Dia and Dora, which in Italian translates as “sharing of gifts and honors,” version will probably choose to tie the mark by the spirit of collaboration and teamwork.

The logo was created in 1948, called “five balls”, was composed of five rings formed by the letters in lower case to do with the likeness of the symbol of the Olympics. In 1978 the writing, thicker and more spread out and filled the letters, add an ornament that will be the logo designed by former employee Sergio Hen. For now Diadora is one of the biggest brands in world sport, with sponsorship in all fields and a dense network of international distribution. Diadora is also known by the brand Diadora Utility which is a leading manufacturer of safety shoes and high technology.

On 30 June 1998 the Invicta, historic Turin company specialized in backpacks, bought the company Caerano later merging with it and moving its headquarters in Treviso. The partnership is intended to be short-lived, however: the dire economic situation of the group in 2006 forced the sale of ‘ Invicta at Seven, while three years later the same brand will be sold to the Diadora Montebelluna Geox.
