Arizona Diamondbacks Logo — The Arizona Diamondbacks or Arizona Diamondbacks is a professional baseball team in the majors based in the city of Phoenix, Arizona. The team is in the Western Division of the National League. The team was added to the league in 1998 as an expansion team and currently plays at Chase Field.
They won the 2001 World Series from the hand of coach Bob Brendly and pitchers Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling and outfielder Luis Gonzalez in the year 2006, played his last game with the bells and the following year went to the Los Angeles Dodgers. In late 2010 Kevin Towers hired regardless of the services of former general manager Josh Byrnes to occupy that position, and quickly made changes and contracts to leave behind how badly the relief pitching was hiring a quality closer to batters and letting go greatly increased the number of strikeouts.
