Is the work of British architect Sir. John Soane and WAS built Between 1792 and 1823. Its headquarters is located in London, in Threadneedle Street, Which is why it is popularly Sometimes Known as The Old Lady of Threadneedle Street or The Old Lady (in Spanish, The Old Lady of Threadneedle Street or The Old Lady). The current governor of the Bank of England is Mervyn King, who Replaced the 30 June of 2003 to Sir Edward George in office.
