Bing Logo — Bing (formerly Live Search , Windows Live Search and MSN Search ) is a web browser from Microsoft . Presented by the chief executive of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer on May 28, 2009 at the Conference All Things Digital in San Diego. It was put online on June 3 , 2009 with a draft published on June 1, 2009.
Notable changes include the list of search suggestions in real time, and a list of related searches (called “Browser Panel” on the left side of search results) based on Powerset’s semantic technology that Microsoft bought in 2008.
On July 29, 2009, Microsoft and Yahoo! announced that Bing would replace Yahoo! Search . is expected that this change is implemented early in 2012.
