Captain America Logo (Steven “Steve” Rogers) is one of the superheroes major Marvel Comics. Created in 1941 by cartoonists Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, has always shown as “a reliable barometer of the social temperature of their country.”
The character was created as an element of propaganda during World War II, where he represented an America free and democratic that he opposed an imperialist Europe and warlike, and had great success with the public, but the conflict was lost popularity, despite an attempt (in vain) to recycle as a hunter of Communists in the early years of the Cold War.
In 1964, Stan Lee decided to take the character in The Avengers #4, he was deprived of the elements nationalists who had originally, but reformed by giving a new sensitivity and humanity, and very often their stories are used to report the corruption and social inequalities present in American society, representing a kind of “consciousness” real America.
