Chrysler Logo — Chrysler Group LLC is a historic U.S. automotive group, a subsidiary of Fiat SpA. It is headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, United States. Manufactures cars since 1925. Daimler Chrysler was the third largest automaker in the world, was based in Germany, and brought together several of the most important brands produced including Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep. On 17 May 2007, DaimlerChrysler announced the sale of 80.1% of Chrysler to Cerberus Capital Management firm, LP for a value of 5,500 million euros. In late 2007, Chrysler changes hands, and the German company changed its name to Daimler AG yet retain 19.9% of the shares.

The August 6th, 2007, following the announcement of the sale of shares to Cerberus, Chrysler Corporation LLC, unveiled a new logo and launched its new website. Robert Nardelli took over as President and CEO under the ownership of Cerberus.
The bad management of the company by the investment group Cerberus led the group to the bankruptcy. The States Government United tome the Lead to Save the assets valid from group. They formed what was called “The New Chrysler.” Due to the agreements signed with the White House, Fiat Group initially took a 20% stake, which later joined another 15% after transferring part of its green technologies, engines, transmissions and platforms. Additionally, having returned in the period between 2011 and 2017 the appropriations requested for government restructuring, Fiat Group took an additional 16% at a price previously agreed. Currently Fiat SpA possesses 58.5% of Chrysler Group LLC.
