Rayo Vallecano Logo — The Rayo Vallecano SAD is a sports organization, focused on the field football, located in the district of Vallecas, southeast of the city of Madrid (Spain). The club was founded in 1924 and his first team currently plays in the Primera Division in Spain.
On May 5th of 2011, under pressure and continual rejection of the fans, the sale becomes official club by the Ruiz-Mateos family Madrid businessman Raul Martin Dam, which is made with 98.6% of actions. The employer assumes the club’s current debt and agrees to pay wage arrears in installments players and coaching staff, waiting for certifying the promotion to the First Division. The new president is committed to settle the debt before the end of the season.

On August 3 the substitute becomes official, Antonio Fernandez Monterrubio.
