Real Zaragoza Logo — The Real Zaragoza is a football club professional Spanish city of Zaragoza, in Aragon. It was founded in 1932 with the union of Iberia SC and Zaragoza CD, the two biggest clubs in the city. The origin is in 1903 with the creation of Zaragoza Football Club, predecessor of Real Zaragoza SAD. It is the 9th team in the historical classification of the Spanish First Division soccer, having raced 55 seasons in that category.
On September 10th of 2009, the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) published the ranking of the best European clubs twentieth century, occupying the position Real Zaragoza 37th due to the European Championships achieved in the twentieth century the Fairs Cup in 1964 and the Cup Winners Cup in 1995.
Currently ranked No.365 in world rankings of clubs IFFHS and the No. 59 of the historical classification of the same organism. Is the 7 th team in number of fans in Spain (2.7%), according to the survey of the Center for Sociological Research (CIS) in May 2007.
