Bell Mobility Logo — Bell Mobility, formerly Bell Cellular is a subsidiary of Bell Canada providing services to mobile in Canada. Bell Mobility has over 6,000,000 subscribers to its cellular network at the end of the last quarter of fiscal year 2009. In July 2006, Bell took responsibility for the services of the defunct company Wireless Aliant in Atlantic Canada as part of a major restructuring of Bell and Aliant. The company continued to do business under the name Aliant until the rebranding in April 2008.
Virgin Mobile Canada, Solo Mobile and PC Mobile uses Bell’s network as mobile virtual network Operators (ORMV). Certain subsidiaries of Bell continue to operate their own networks without son-distinct (but in general, for roaming with) Bell Mobility. These subsidiaries are Northwestel (NMI Mobility and Latitude Wireless), Télébec (Télébec Mobility) and NorthernTel (NorthernTel Mobility). More
