Bentley Logo — Bentley Motors Limited is a manufacturer of automobiles founded in England on January 18th of 1919 by Walter Owen Bentley, known as WO Bentley. Bentley was known for making aero rotation during the First World War, the most famous being the Bentley BR1. The Great Depression of 1929 bankrupted Bentley in 1931, was acquired by Rolls-Royce. From 1998 belongs to the Volkswagen group.

In 2004 the British brand produced 7,686 cars, a notable increase over the 1,017 the previous year. With these numbers exceeded the combined sales of its two major rivals: Rolls-Royce and Maybach.
