Chloé Logo — Chloé is a fashion house French founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion. Gaby Aghion thought his own name evoked that of a fortune- teller. She prefers the name of a friend, ‘Chloé’, for its warm, feminine and in keeping with the spirit young and daring who was born in Paris at that time.

Before the creation of Chloé in 1952, fashion houses producing only custom clothes Couture or Haute Couture. Rejecting the coldness and stiffness of the fashion of the 1950s, Gaby Aghion, decided to create a line of high quality clothes she calls’ ready-to-wear luxury. Clothes are available immediately, the need for minor editing, materials of excellent quality, the sections studied and treated tissue fell. The market for ready-to-wear as we know it today was born.
