Kawasaki Logo — Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. is an international corporation based in Japan . It is based in two cities, Chuo-ku , Kobe and Yokohama . The company takes its name from its founder, Shozo Kawasaki and has no connection with the city of Kawasaki ( Kanagawa ).

Outside of Kobe , Japan , Kawasaki is known for the production of motorcycles and vehicles off-road , although the company and its subsidiaries also manufacture jet skis , boats , industrial plants , tractors , trains , small engines , equipment and aerospace (including military aircraft). It has been a subcontractor to work on jet aircraft (including jumbo jets) for Boeing , Embraer and Bombardier . More
