Pierre Cardin Logo — Pierre Cardin is a fashion designer who was born on July 2 of 1922, in San Biagio di Callalta, region of Veneto, Italy, of Italian parents. He moved to Paris in 1945. There he studied architecture and worked with Tiny after the war. He worked with Schiaparelli until he became head of the studio of Christian Dior in 1947. When I refused to work in Balenciaga, decided to found his own house in 1950. Thus began Cardin haute couture in 1953.
Cardin was known for his style avant-garde, and their designs Space Age. Preferred geometric shapes and motifs, often ignoring the female form.
