Sheraton Logo — Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is a trademark of U.S. hotel chain Starwood Hotels & Resorts , based in Stamford (Connecticut) .The history of the Sheraton Hotel began in 1937 when two entrepreneurs, Ernest Henderson and Robert Lowell Moore, the Stonehaven Hotel in Springfield, Massachusetts acquired. The chain got its name but from another hotel, the men had bought later. This carried a neon sign with the word “Sheraton” on the roof, the removal of the two business men was too expensive. Instead, they decided to name all their hotels Sun.
