It is now partly owned by the French State and operates in over 50 countries. It has around 68,000 employees and in 2010 generated 13,100 million euros in revenue. Thales is positioned as the 485th largest company by Fortune magazine, is the 9 th defense contractor being the world’s largest 63% of its total sales for the military.
