Assassin’s Creed Logo — Assassin’s Creed is a series of action-adventure video game history tinged with science fiction, set during the Crusades in the first game and the Renaissance in the second and third, all developed by Ubisoft. The first references to the so-called Project Assassin were announced at the event Microsoft’s Xbox 360. At first it was officially submitted for PlayStation 3, with departure dates to 2008, under the name of Assassin’s Creed. Later, Ubisoft announced that the game would also be available for PC and Xbox 360 (for PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS have also appeared other chapters in the history of the protagonist as Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations).
The game has been developed for most of the team behind Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, seal with eight million units sold worldwide. In 2009 appears the second part of this game, Assassin’s Creed II, and in November 2010, the third, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. A prequel to the game, titled Assassin’s Creed: Altaïr’s Chronicles, was released on February 5, 2008, for Nintendo DS, developed by Gameloft.
The story revolves around the conflict between two “factions” who fight every man for his ideals, the Templars, who apparently are one of many orders to fight alongside Christians in the Third Crusade, their goal is to get the so-called fruit of Eden, which they intend to seize the spirit and will of all people and thus control them. His master is Robert de Sable. Opposing them are the Murderers or Hashsha-shin, which aims to destroy the Templars to prevent them from taking over the world are based in the fortress of Masyaf and his teacher is a wise old man named Al-Mualim. Unlike the Templars, the Assassins do not have many resources like this and are forced to “work” so infiltrated to avoid attracting the attention of the Templars.
