Asian Football Confederation (in English The Asian Football Confederation ), also known by its acronym AFC is the confederation of national associations of football in Asia and Australia . This is the highest body of the sport on the continent and is one of the six confederations belonging to the FIFA . It was founded in 1954 and headquartered in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia .
