FC Internazionale Milano Logo — The Football Club Internazionale Milano (known in Spanish as Inter Milan but its literal translation is ‘International Milan’, in Italian simply as ‘Inter’) is a club of football of the city of Milan , Italy . It was founded in 1908 by dissidents of the Milan Cricket & Football Club, now AC Milan . It is the only Italian team that always has played in Serie A in Italy. Their traditional rivals are the AC Milan with whom dispute the so-called Derby della Madonnina and Juventus , club against which to dispute the so-called Italian Derby ( Derby d’Italia in Italian).

Inter are the only team that has always participated in Serie A since 1929 , the year in which the competition was instituted. Juventus had been the other team stay in Serie A in Italy, but corruption scandals known in the 2005-2006 season, were relegated to Serie B and was stripped of the last Scudetto obtained in the 2004-2005 seasons and 2005-2006. The Scudetto in the 2005-2006 season was awarded to Inter because he was not involved in corruption like Juventus, AC Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina. Inter are the only Italian team that has won three titles in a season (League, Italian Cup and UEFA Champions League ).

Inter play their home games at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza , shared with the other big club in Milan: the AC Milan . According to a survey conducted by the Statistical Institute Demos in the month of September 2011 , of all football fans in Italy , Inter is the second club of fans, after Juventus , with 18.6% of total .
