Lavazza Logo — Luigi Lavazza SpA is an Italian coffee refiners and distributors of coffee beans and flour based in Turin (Northern Italy). Was founder Luigi Lavazza (1859-1949), the first roasted coffee in a small retail business and sold. His grandson, Emilio († 16 February 2010) built the company into one of the big coffee companies in Italy. Today, Lavazza is especially espresso coffee known and exported throughout Europe.

Lavazza SpA is today the fourth generation of family ownership. Lavazza has begun in recent years with the opening of their own coffeehouses primarily in major Italian cities, and at motorway service areas and is now isolated to Germany.
