Moto Guzzi Logo — Moto Guzzi (also known as the only Guzzi) is a company famous Italian of motorcycles, established on 15 March 1921 by Carlo Guzzi and Giorgio Parodi. From the corporate point of view, since 2004 part of the Piaggio Group and since 2005 the CEO of Moto Guzzi SpA is Daniele Bandiera. The company has produced more than 50 models from its foundation and has for years specialized in cylinder engines in V of 90º, rarely also provided to small manufacturers of special models such as, for example, Magni, Ghezzi & Brian, Desoto or Mako Shark.
In 1921 on March 15 the rider Emanuele Vittorio Parodi, his son George, and the latter a friend of Carlo Guzzi based in Genoa, home office, with production in Mandello Tonzanico (later became Mandello del Lario), a village on Lake Como, in the province of Lecco, the “Società Anonima Moto Guzzi”. The logo chosen is the eagle, the symbol of ‘the Army Air Force in World War I, in honor of the third partner, the rider Giovanni Ravelli, who fell in war with his plane. More
