Pininfarina Logo — Pininfarina SpA (short for Carozzeria Pininfarina) is an automotive design firm and designer of high-speed trains and a body builder located in Turin (Italy), founded in 1930 by designer and maker of cars Battista “Pinin” Farina (continuing with the company, the family name became Pininfarina in 1961 as a result of combining his nickname and last name).
Over the years the company has been employed by many automobile manufacturers , especially Ferrari, Maserati, Cadillac, Nash, Peugeot, Jaguar, Volvo, Alfa Romeo, Ford, GM, and Lancia. From the 80’s Pininfarina has also provided consulting industrial design and interior design to corporate clients.
