Before the release of Safari, Apple included the browser Internet Explorer for Mac from Microsoft to their computers as the default browser. The first beta version of Safari was presented at the exhibition Macworld on January 7th of 2003 and was released as public beta. His version 1.0 was released in June of 2003 .
