Calgary Flames Logo — Calgary Flames are a professional team of ice hockey Canada which sits in the city of Calgary (Alberta). Founded in 1972 as the Atlanta Flames in Atlanta, the team moved in 1980 to its current city. The team plays in the National Hockey League framed in the Northwest Division.
