French Football Federation Logo — The French Football Federation ( FFF ) is the highest governing body of football in France . Lead the selection of France also the direction and organization of the Professional Football League (Ligue de Football Professionnel) and the French Championships (Championnats de France). The Federation was founded in 1919 and is also a founding member of both FIFA and the UEFA .
Since 1944 the FFF delegated to the Ligue de Football Professionnel organization of professional football leagues ( Ligue 1 , Ligue 2 and League Cup ). The Ligue de Football Professionnel , also known by its acronym LFP, is an agency under the authority of the FFF. For its part, the FFF directly manages all other non-professional categories French Football League : National , CFA 1 and CFA 2. Below these, the regional categories ( Ligues régionales and Districts départementaux football ) gestionades by local authorities are directly dependent on the FFF. More
