Corona Logo — Corona Extra , is a brand of beer popular in Mexico and Latin America , developed by the Grupo Modelo . Corona beer is now a brand known worldwide, distributed over more than 159 countries on five continents. Has established itself as the largest selling beer in Mexico and in turn is the first imported beer in the United States. It is also, of all imported Mexican beers, the best selling.

It is a type drink pilsner beer began to be developed in the year 1925 in the floor of the Modelo Brewery in Mexico City . In 1926, the factory started production of Corona in his presentation of “quarters” of bottle and dropped the project to package the beer in dark bottle to facilitate the conservation of their essential oils of hops, and that the public liked the packaging more transparent. The bottle of Corona is now easily recognizable by its pattern indicating the brand name and the words “Finest Beer.”
