It is published by News Group Newspapers , a subsidiary of News Corporation . News Corporation is in turn owned by media mogul Rupert Murdoch .
Despite its popularity there are many criticisms of the paper. He is often accused of being ordinary, a crap, unprofessional or overly sensational.Immediately, Murdoch changed the small format newspaper, and made The Sun a sister paper the News of the World , a yellow newspaper on Sunday which had bought the previous year. The two newspapers used the same press machines, and both were managed together.
