AC Siena Logo — The AC Siena is a club football in Italy , the city of Siena in Tuscany . It was founded in 1904 and plays in the Serie A . In 1904 , some members of the Sociedad Deportiva in Healthy Mind Healthy Body , forming a new split, the Society for the Study and Divertimento , adopting the colors white and black coat of the city. This new society was dedicated largely to activities such as cycling , the walk , the weight lifting , and not until 1908 that start to play football, and this new football team changed its name to Società Sportiva Robur (Robur is the name senesis know that the team to distinguish Mens Sana and Virtus , the big teams basketball in the city).

The first championship involving the Robur, is the 1920 — 21 , in the Tuscan tournament, which achieved a resounding success. For the Championship Series C of 1,933 — 1934 , it was decided cambier the name to Associazione Calcio Siena and in a match against Reggiana which ended 7-0, the senesi achieved promotion to Serie B .
