Fisker Logo — Fisker Automotive is an American automobile manufacturer based in Anaheim, California. The company’s first product, the Fisker Karma is one of the few electric hybrid vehicles worldwide. It premiered in 2008 at the Detroit Motor Show, creating the first green car segment. An estimated 15,000 vehicles will be assembled by Valmet Automotive year in Uusikaupunki, Finland. Valmet currently builds the Porsche Cayman and Porsche Boxster sports cars Porsche.

Fisker originally intended to sell the Karma in late 2009, but due to delays in funding the aim is to deliver orders to customers in late 2011. Fisker announced that the concept of Karma S hardtop convertible unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show 2009 will be available by 2012 at an unknown price. Fisker has said it plans to have about 200 dealers in Europe and North America in late 2011. More
