Nickelodeon Logo — Nickelodeon, often simply called Nick and originally called Pinwheel is a children’s channel in the United States owned by Viacom. The channel is aimed primarily at primary school children and young adolescents (ages 6-14), also had a block of Monday to Friday in the morning aimed at preschool children (2-5 years). Since 2006 has been directed by Cyma Zarghami.
The channel was created in 1977 under the name “Pinwheel Channel”, in Columbus, Ohio as part of the cable television Time Warner. In its first broadcast day blocks or segments aired as Pinwheel, Video Comic Book, America Goes Bananaz, Nickel Flicks and By the way. Its logo was a silver sphere with the channel name. More
