San Diego Padres Logo — The San Diego Padres are a deductible of Baseball Major League Baseball based in San Diego, California. They evolve in the Western Division of the National League and have never won the World Series despite two appearances in the finals in 1984 and 1998. In 1969, San Diego has joined Major League Baseball, with three other expansion franchises (The Kansas City Royals, the Seattle Pilots and the Montreal Expos). The name Padres is a reference to the team of the same name playing in Pacific Coast League, which is based in San Diego in 1936 : the San Diego Padres. Guided by Ted Williams, who was only eighteen years, this franchise has also won the league title in 1937. C. Arnholt Smith, the first owner of the franchise MLB Padres also owned by PCL Padres.
