Manchester City Logo — The Manchester City Football Club is a professional football club English based in the city of Manchester. Currently plays in the Premier League English. It was founded as St. Marks (West Gorton), renamed Ardwick AFC and finally changed its name to Manchester City FC in 1894. Throughout its history the club has won the Premier League three times, five times the FA Cup, two League Cup and Cup Winners Cup. The club’s most successful period was in the late 1960 and early 1970, at which time he won several tournaments under the direction of Joe Mercer and Malcolm Allison his assistant, besides having great players such as Colin Bell and Francis Lee.
