Private investors own 81.4% of the company (37% owned by former shareholders of Air France and 21% owned by former shareholders of KLM), while the French government owns the remaining 18.6%. As a result of the agreement, the participation of the Government of France Air France has been reduced from 54.4% (of the former Air France) to 44% (from Air France-KLM).
