Chicago White Sox Logo — The Chicago White Sox or Chicago White Sox is a team of baseball belongs to the big leagues of the sport. Play in the city of Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1893 as a team of minor league in Sioux City with the name Cornhuskers. Then moved to Saint Paul in 1895, then to Chicago in 1900 and are one of the founding teams of the American League with the original name of the Chicago White Stockings, winning the first season of this new league. In 1904 the name was reduced to White Stockings White Sox.

In the 1919 World Series, eight Chicago players were found guilty of receiving money to be outdone.
