Qatar Airways Logo — Qatar Airways is an airline based in Doha , capital of the emirate of Tasting . From its main airport in Doha operates a route network that includes 78 cities worldwide. It is one of six airlines in the world who lead with five stars the world ranking of service and excellence developed by Skytrax, an independent company dedicated to quality control of airlines and many other prizes. The airline belongs to the Arab Air Carriers Association .

Qatar Airways was founded in November 1993 and began operations in January next year. Originally controlled by the royal family Catari, lately has been “westernized” administrative and financial structures. Qatar Airways Cargo , the freight division of the airline has ordered two Boeing 777-200F. The first will be delivered in 2009 to coincide with the opening of the new Doha International Airport, which will have capacity to move 750,000 tons of cargo annually. The B777-200F will be used mainly on European routes and the Far East and will complement the Airbus A300-600F freighters on regional routes.

The “Premium Terminal” is the first airport terminal in the world dedicated exclusively to First Class passengers and Business Class. Open in Doha International Airport in the winter of 2006 after 9 months of work and an outlay of 66 million euros, its 10,000 square meters hosting billing services, duty free shops, conference rooms, nurseries, playgrounds, spa facilities and fine dining.All places of Qatar Airways flights have individual video screen in the front seat.
